Topical anesthetics (e.g. creams) are used to minimize discomfort. On a scale of 0-10, 0 being nil and 10 being the highest , an average rate is a 3 level of pain. This client gave a rating of 3.

Enhancements can last from 1 to 5 years dependant on factors such as age, exposure to uv light and swimming.  To maintain the colour intensity of your enhancement you can return for a retouch every 12 months for a refresh treatment. These treatments take much less time to complete and are priced accordingly.

The outermost layer of the skin is called the epidermis, it is always shedding and renewing itself. So when you enhancement implant is complete, the colour will appear darker than the final result. This is because the colour is in both the epidermis and the dermis.

The colour in the top layer will shred away during the healing process.

The implant will fade and in time the body will break down the colour. So as your body ages so will your colour, fading lighter and softer.
